Think this is a Christmas story or maybe a birthday story. Jim buys Blair an expensive new backpack and fills it with things Jim thinks Blair needs, wants him to have. Cell phone charger, atm card, spare key to the loft and truck, etc...

All I can remember about this story is on Halloween the guys are coming home and a neighbor skates down the hall wearing not much but feathers... seriously I'm gonna feel sooo brain damaged when someone tells me the name and where I read it.
